Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services to ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure Manage restaurant reservation systems, including booking, modifying, and confirming reservations to optimize seating flow Handle take-out orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct order processing Assist with restaurant table management by coordinating seating arrangements and communicating wait times effectively Answer phone inquiries professionally, practicing excellent phone etiquette to assist guests with reservations or questions about menu items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and hygiene protocols Support food service operations by assisting servers and kitchen staff during busy periods when needed Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, fostering a welcoming environment for all visitors Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with restaurant operations and guest interactions Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently via phone and in person Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash or card transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and commitment to maintaining hygiene protocols Hospitality experience that emphasizes guest services and guest relations is a plus Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us in creating memorable dining experiences!
