This role helps create a welcoming dining experience by assisting guests, maintaining service areas, supporting the front-of-house team, and keeping the restaurant organized and ready for service. Jams Old Market is an American grill located in Omaha's Old Market district. Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit. Assist servers and other front-of-house team members during busy periods. Prepare and maintain dining areas, service stations, and guest-facing spaces. Deliver food, beverages, and other items to tables accurately and promptly. Clear, clean, and reset tables according to restaurant standards. Respond to guest requests and communicate special needs to the appropriate team member. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift. Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures. Work efficiently as part of a team during high-volume service periods. Qualifications Previous restaurant, hospitality, customer service, or food-service experience is helpful but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, dependable, and professional attitude. Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and carry supplies throughout a shift. Must be available for scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
