Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and maintain an efficient flow of seating in the restaurant. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service will be essential in creating a memorable experience for our patrons. Tips not included in starting pay. Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome. Manage the seating chart to ensure efficient table turnover and guest flow. Take reservations and manage waitlists using the POS system. Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate guest seating and special requests. Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with team members to ensure exceptional guest service throughout the dining experience. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
