Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position requires weekend evenings availability.

Duties:

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
• Seat guests and manage the seating chart
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservations
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
• Assist servers with various tasks as needed
• Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate when necessary
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient seating and service

Skills:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Knowledge of food service procedures and etiquette
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations
