Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, with a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection and meet our restaurant's standards. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications. Assist in meal preparation for catering events and daily service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of all ingredients. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes. Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs when required. Ensure all equipment is clean, sanitized, and in good working order. Qualifications Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Strong skills in food preparation and meal presentation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen environment. Familiarity with catering operations is a plus but not mandatory. Passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques.
