Job Description

Overview:
Navigator - Chart House A Navigator is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for presenting exceptional customer service to ensure the guests' first impression of the restaurant is a positive one.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a professional, pleasant and helpful manner and directs them to their seats promptly and present them with menus Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely manner Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information to guests Handle guest complaints or issues professionally or bring them to the manager when necessary Take to-go orders over the phone and in person Responsible for a point-of-sale register and accepting credit cards, cash, comps or in payment of food and beverage charges Engage with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service Refill drinks and clear plates as needed during guest's dining experience. Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating/dining flow. Performs opening and closing duties as directed by supervisor or manager Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service Performs any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
