Job Summary Charlie's of Bay Head is seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent guest relations skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and staff. Duties Greet guests promptly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort. Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods, ensuring timely updates for guests. Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations with excellent phone etiquette. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Utilize the RESY system for managing reservations and seating efficiently. Qualifications Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with food service operations is a plus. Proficient in using Reservation systems; experience with RESY is advantageous. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends, as needed.
