As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, comfortable communicating with guests in person and over the phone, and able to remain attentive and professional in a fast paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival Manage the guest waiting area and assist with seating guests efficiently Escort guests to their tables and provide a friendly introduction to their dining experience Answer incoming phone calls and assist with general customer inquiries Take and manage restaurant reservations accurately Assist with takeout orders, including answering calls, entering orders, organizing orders, and coordinating guest pickup Communicate with servers, managers, and other team members to help maintain an organized flow of service Keep the entrance, host stand, lobby, and greeting areas clean, organized, and presentable Check guest restrooms regularly and help ensure they remain clean and properly stocked Assist the front of house team with additional tasks as needed during service Maintain a neat, professional appearance and a friendly, welcoming attitude What We're Looking For Friendly and professional communication skills Dependable and punctual Comfortable interacting with guests in person and over the phone Able to multitask and stay organized during busy service periods Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Restaurant or customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
