Looking for a full-time restaurant hostess to join our team on a permanent basis. Please no students with a changing schedule. This is a full-time, steady position. Looking for someone reliable and on time! Must present a positive first impression, friendliness, excellent service and high standards. Availability must include holidays, nights and weekends. The hostess will be Responsible for the following: Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service Take Reservations Manage Reservations in OpenTable Change Drink Menus & add specials Make sure the dining rooms are presentable, stocked and orderly Change the decor seasonally Check bathrooms to make sure they are clean Make sure wine rack in dining room is stocked Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly, escort them to assigned dining area & present menus Inform Guest of current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff Manage the flow of Guests into the Dining and Bar areas, and direct people to appropriate rooms for parties Tend to special Guest needs and requests Observant to Guests' needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service (i.e. notice a drink refill is needed while seating another Guest and ensuring the drink is refilled prior to getting back to the door). Take, place, charge & package to go orders

Requirements:

A desire to help out where needed and work as part of a team Must be Presentable and Dress Professionally 1 year experience in a full-service restaurant preferred Must be available to work weekends and holidays! Experience using Open Table a Plus!
