The facility is designed to become the premier destination for youth and adult sports, recreation, fitness, dining, and family entertainment while serving as a gathering place for the local community. Our facility features basketball, volleyball and pickleball courts, indoor turf fields, bowling, a dual level laser tag arena, Krazy Darts, miniature golf, arcade games, a full-service restaurant and bar, fitness center, Child Watch, and flexible event spaces capable of hosting birthday parties, tournaments, corporate outings, and community celebrations. Managed by KemperSports, Henderson Sport & Social proudly embraces the Core True Service philosophy: Be Genuine, Helpful, and Friendly Service is a Team Sport To the Guest, Everything Matters Customer Happiness is Everything My Attitude is My Responsibility Position Summary Party Host Team Members play a vital role in creating memorable birthday party and group event experiences by supporting Party Hosts throughout every celebration. This position assists with event preparation, food and beverage service, attraction operations, room transitions, and guest interactions while learning the skills necessary to become a Party Host. Party Host Support team members are cross-trained throughout the Family Entertainment department and are expected to provide exceptional hospitality while supporting operational excellence across the facility. What Success Looks Like Deliver friendly, genuine, and professional hospitality to every guest. Support Party Hosts in creating memorable celebrations. Demonstrate initiative by anticipating the needs of guests and teammates. Maintain organized, clean, and guest-ready event spaces. Learn and apply new skills through cross-training opportunities. Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support Party Hosts throughout birthday parties and group events to ensure a seamless guest experience. Assist with party room setup, cleanup, and transitions between scheduled events. Deliver food and beverages, refill soda and water pitchers, package leftover food, and assist with general food service. Escort guests to attractions and operate attractions as assigned through cross-training. Brief guests on attraction rules and safety procedures before activities begin. Assist guests to the lobby, another attraction, or their vehicles while helping transport gifts or personal belongings as needed. Support the kitchen, Guest Services, Attractions, or other Family Entertainment operations based on business needs. Maintain knowledge of Henderson Sport & Social attractions, memberships, promotions, leagues, tournaments, and upcoming events. Complete opening, closing, side work, and additional duties assigned to support operational needs. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age. Food Handler's Card. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events based on business needs. Strong communication and guest service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, family entertainment, guest service, or event hosting. Experience working with children or group events. Interest in developing into a Party Host position. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Bend, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and climb stairs as needed. Work in a fast-paced, high-energy entertainment environment.
