Host/Hostess Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service by welcoming guests, managing the seating process, and assisting with various front-of-house tasks. This role requires a positive attitude, multitasking skills, and the ability to follow directions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting Guests:

Welcome guests warmly and guide them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression.

Setting Up Tables:

Prepare tables for service, including arranging utensils, napkins, and other table settings.

Taking To-Go Orders:

Accurately process takeout orders, ensuring quality and prompt service.

Cleaning Menus:

Regularly sanitize menus to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.

Processing Payments:

Handle guest payments efficiently and accurately, including cash, credit card, and digital transactions.

Food Running:

Assist with running food to tables during busy periods to support the team.

Following Directions:

Execute tasks as directed by management and collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help where needed. Basic math skills for handling payments. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:
