Prime:

An American Kitchen & Bar is seeking friendly, polished, and dependable hosts and hostesses to join our front desk team. This is a fast-paced, guest-facing position that requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to remain composed during busy services. As the first and last impression of the restaurant, our hosts are responsible for creating a warm and welcoming experience for every guest.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest check-ins Answer phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries Escort guests to their tables and communicate with the service team Maintain an organized and professional host desk Assist with monitoring table status and the flow of the dining room Communicate guest requests and concerns to management Work collaboratively with other hosts, servers, and managers Provide exceptional hospitality throughout every shift

Qualifications:

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is strongly preferred Previous host or front desk experience is preferred Experience using OpenTable, Resy or a similar reservation system is strongly preferred Friendly, confident, and professional demeanor Dependable and punctual Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume restaurant Able to remain calm and positive under pressure Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is preferred but not required Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings Flexible and consistent availability is strongly preferred This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a professional, hospitality-focused team.
