As the first and last face our guests see, our host team sets the tone for the entire dining experience! At Lot 54, we work hard, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We're looking for teammates who bring good vibes, keep the team dynamic fun, and aren't camera-shy! We love featuring our crew in behind-the-scenes social media content, hype videos, and team highlights. If you love good food, good energy, and having a blast with your team, this is the job for you. Position Overview We are seeking bright, friendly, and organized Hosts to join our front-of-house team. In this role, you'll manage table seating, greet guests with warm hospitality, handle waitlists, and make sure our entrance and dining areas stay lively, smooth, and welcoming.
Shift Availability:
Hiring for all shifts —including morning/brunch rushes, daytime lunch, and high-energy dinner services. Flexible schedules available!
Key Responsibilities First Impressions:
Warmly greet arriving guests, manage reservations, and escort diners to their tables with a welcoming attitude.
Seating Flow & Pacing:
Manage table rotations fairly and efficiently to balance server workloads and maximize dining room capacity during busy rushes.
Waitlist Management:
Track wait times accurately, communicate updates to waiting guests clearly, and keep front-door energy high.
Communication & Support:
Coordinate smoothly with servers, bussers, and management to ensure tables are reset quickly and floor updates are passed along.
Front-of-House Housekeeping:
Keep the host stand, entrance way, menus, and front dining area clean, organized, and stocked.
Vibe & Culture:
Bring contagious positive energy to the door and participate in fun, behind-the-scenes social media reels and team showcases.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Prior host, customer service, or retail experience preferred, but personality and enthusiasm matter most— we are happy to train!
Personality:
Outgoing, articulate, camera-friendly, and naturally excels at making people feel welcome.
Organization & Multitasking:
Ability to stay calm, friendly, and structured during heavy door rushes.
Availability:
Flexible schedule required, including weekend and evening/morning availability.
Team Player:
