A Host or Hostess greets customers when they arrive at a restaurant. Manages reservations, seats customers, and helps wait staff as needed with attending to customer requests and service.
Job Requirements Starting Pay Rate $16.50 hourly Day/Swing Shift Provides outstanding guest service by actively monitoring the restaurant's flow. Enthusiastically greets guests upon arrival and warmly thanks them as they leave. Ensures table availability and wait times are well-managed. When seating guests, cheerfully informs them of their server and handles any special requests with a smile. Hosts/Hostesses may also assist with take-out orders. In Your Day-to-Day as a Host, you will: Ensure all guests are seated in a timely manner. Greet every guest with a smile. Inform the guest(s) of his/her Food Server by name. Maintain constant awareness of table availability in designated area. Thank guest for patronage and welcome them back.
