Duties Greet guests warmly with a friendly demeanor and assist with seating arrangements to optimize table utilization Manage restaurant reservations using advanced reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate waitlists and communicate wait times clearly via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Maintain organized restaurant table management systems to ensure efficient seating flow and guest satisfaction Answer incoming calls promptly, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant policies Support guest relations by addressing inquiries professionally and ensuring guest needs are met promptly Assist with food safety protocols by maintaining cleanliness in the host station and adhering to hygiene standards Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on friendly guest interactions Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Basic math skills for handling reservations, guest counts, and billing procedures Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant reservation management tools is advantageous Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment Understanding of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
