Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and exceptional customer service skills will set the tone for a lively and inviting atmosphere. You will manage reservations, greet guests with warmth, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities Warmly greet guests as they arrive, making them feel valued and comfortable Manage reservations and waitlists using POS (Point of Sale) systems or other scheduling tools Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and sanitation procedures in the host/hostess station and waiting areas Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service flow Assist guests with inquiries about menu items or restaurant policies in a friendly manner Support food safety management practices by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic demeanor Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety standards Ability to operate POS systems efficiently and accurately Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members Ability to stand for extended periods, walk quickly between tables, and handle busy periods with ease A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and food safety compliance Join us as a Host/Hostess and be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences!
