You'll be joining a busy restaurant with a mix of regulars, families, groups and weekend diners. We want someone who enjoys being around people and can bring a bit of personality to the front door. Experience is welcome, but you definitely don't need to be a hospitality expert. Here's the important bit: you need to be comfortable talking to people. You'll be greeting guests, managing reservations and keeping an eye on which tables are becoming available. When it gets busy, you might have a phone ringing, guests waiting and servers asking about their next table — being able to stay organised without losing your smile is a big part of the job. During a shift, you'll also help with: Seating guests and providing menus Managing the waitlist Taking restaurant reservations Answering incoming calls Giving guests estimated waiting times Keeping the entrance and host area presentable Communicating with servers and managers Helping out around the front of house when needed About the schedule We have full-time and part-time hours available. Restaurant shifts can include afternoons, evenings and weekends, so some flexibility is needed. Schedules are provided in advance. No experience? That's not a dealbreaker. If you've worked in retail, customer service, events or another people-facing position, you may already have plenty of transferable experience. We'll show you how our seating, reservation and restaurant systems work. Previous Host, Hostess or Front of House experience is a plus.
