Position Summary:

The Hostess/Receptionist at Indian Valley Country Club is a key member-facing position responsible for providing a warm, professional welcome to all members and guests. This individual will manage front desk reception duties as well as coordinate dining and event reservations. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, and committed to exceptional service, ensuring a positive first and lasting impression.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet members and guests in a warm, courteous manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls; take and relay accurate messages Manage dining and event reservations, including special requests and seating charts Provide club information, event schedules, and assistance to members Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception and host stand areas Sort, distribute, and collect mail; maintain supply of printed materials for members Assist with special projects, mailings, and administrative tasks as needed Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless member service Monitor guest arrivals and ensure waitlists or reservations are efficiently handled Report presence of unauthorized visitors and maintain lobby safety Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Experience preferred in a hospitality environment Proficient in Microsoft Office, reservation software, and multi-line phone systems Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong verbal and written communication skills Friendly demeanor with exceptional customer service focus Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
