Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional guest services to foster a positive first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Utilize restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to track reservations, waitlists, and seating flow Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests while managing guest expectations effectively Assist with basic food safety procedures and uphold cleanliness standards in the host station area Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth guest flow and timely seating during peak hours Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service environments, demonstrating strong guest relations skills Proficiency with restaurant reservation management and table management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interactions with guests and team members Strong organizational skills to handle reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently Basic math skills for managing seating capacities, wait times, and POS transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Ability to remain energetic, positive, and professional in a fast-paced setting during our busiest times This role offers an engaging work environment where your hospitality talents will shine.
