We are looking for someone with strong cooking experience. 22 Bowen's is Rhode Island's Prime Steakhouse; evoking Newport's charm and sense of place as the City by the Sea's premier waterfront dining destination. A restaurant defined by its casual elegance, indulgent food, classic drinks and warm, animated hospitality. Position:

In the Host role, you will coordinate seating of guests to provide fast and courteous service.

About You :

You are friendly, outgoing, and driven to succeed. You have a strong passion for hospitality and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment.

Essential Duties:

Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus Answers phone Communicates guests' needs to service staff and management.

Qualifications:

Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed Restaurant and OpenTable experience are preferred however, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving skills Must be able to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive compensation $18-$21/Hour!
