Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort Manage restaurant reservation systems, including booking, confirming, and adjusting reservations as needed Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, menu options, or special events Maintain accurate records of reservations, waitlists, and guest preferences using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and efficient service delivery Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene and sanitation practices in all guest interactions Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Requirements Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as JONAS or Micros POS Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and billing procedures Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication techniques Experience with food service operations and guest relations is advantageous Ability to maintain composure under pressure while delivering friendly service Commitment to food safety standards and hospitality excellence Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing outstanding guest service as our Restaurant Host!
