We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality and memorable dining experiences. Job Overview We are looking for a friendly and energetic Host to join our team. In this role, you'll be the face of our restaurant, greeting guests at the entrance and managing the dining room flow to ensure a welcoming first impression. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about guest hospitality, skilled in creating an organized environment, and comfortable working in a lively setting. Responsibilities (This job description is not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities) Greeting guests warmly at the door and managing the waitlist with enthusiasm, offering accurate wait times when appropriate. Escort guests to their tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of restaurant presentation and table rotation. Present menus with enthusiasm, offering initial recommendations or highlighting current features. Answer phone calls professionally to handle guest inquiries, large party requests, or reservation logs. Monitor dining room seating using POS systems or seating charts, handling table tracking and guest counts. Ensure proper hospitality standards, foyer sanitation, and front-door safety procedures are always followed. Assist with wiping down menus, clearing host stands, and cleaning entry glass to support smooth operations. Qualifications Previous food service or hospitality experience is preferred, especially in high-volume casual restaurant settings. Knowledge of reservation or seating software is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle phone calls, long wait lines, and seating charts during busy hours. Basic math skills for estimating wait times and calculating large party distribution accurately. Experience with phone etiquette, guest conflict resolution, and door management is desirable. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
