As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Assist with guest inquiries and address any concerns promptly to enhance their experience. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area, including menus and waiting lists. Utilize POS systems, such asToastPOS, for managing reservations and orders. Uphold high standards of guest relations by demonstrating excellent communication skills and phone etiquette. Experience Previous experience as a host/host or in a similar customer service role is preferred. Background in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with hospitality practices, guest services, and serving techniques is an asset.
