• The Original Pancake House is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Weekend Only Host/Cashier to join our vibrant team.

As a host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. • Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize guest wait times. Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials to enhance their dining experience. Answer phone calls and manage reservations, taking accurate messages when needed. Process Guests' orders accurately using the register, handling cash and credit card transactions. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including the waiting area and menus. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Assist with taking orders and serving food and beverages as needed, fostering teamwork with fellow staff members. Support other staff in various tasks during busy periods, contributing to a smooth dining experience. Pack online orders according to brand standards and have ready before drivers come

• Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred, but not required.

Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments. Excellent verbal communication skills. Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to showing up for scheduled shifts. Must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
