Host / Hostess Slate Table & Bar - League City, TX At Slate Table & Bar, we're creating an elevated dining experience built on genuine hospitality, exceptional service, and attention to detail. We're looking for a polished, professional Host to become the first impression of our restaurant. What You'll Do Welcome every guest with warmth, confidence, and professionalism. Manage reservations and waitlists while maintaining accurate seating rotations. Coordinate table availability with managers and service staff. Answer phones professionally and assist guests with reservations and questions. Maintain the flow of the dining room while ensuring guests feel valued and informed. Assist with preparing the dining room before service and maintaining a clean, organized host stand. Help create the upscale yet comfortable atmosphere that defines Slate. What We're Looking For Previous restaurant host or customer service experience preferred. Experience using OpenTable is a strong plus. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Excellent organization and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and friendly during busy service periods. Dependable, punctual, and a true team player. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Why Slate?
