Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and energetic Host to join our dynamic team in the restaurant and hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for welcoming them warmly, managing reservations, and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit. Duties 1.

Greeting Guests:

Welcome customers as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and acknowledged. 2.

Seating Arrangements:

Manage the seating plan, directing customers to their tables based on availability and the flow of service. 3.

Managing Reservations:

Handle reservations, ensuring that guests' needs are met, including special requests. 4.

Maintaining Waitlist:

If required, maintain a waitlist and inform guests of waiting times. 5. Coordinating with

Staff:

Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely seating. 6.

Providing Menus:

Hand out menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. 7.

Handling Guest Inquiries:

Answer questions about the menu, dining options, or services provided by the restaurant. 8.

Monitoring Dining Area:

Oversee the dining area to ensure cleanliness and ambiance, adjusting as necessary to enhance the guest experience. 9.

Gathering Feedback:

Collect customer feedback regarding their dining experience for improvement and to resolve any issues promptly. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems (Resy/Toast experience is a plus) for order entry and payment processing. Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
