Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Hostess/Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless seating experience. As a Hostess/Runner, you will also assist in delivering food and beverages efficiently, maintaining excellent guest relations, and supporting the overall flow of the restaurant. Your positive attitude and organizational skills will help create memorable dining experiences for every guest. Duties Greet guests promptly with enthusiasm and professionalism, managing restaurant reservation systems and walk-in arrivals with efficiency Manage guest seating arrangements using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize flow and reduce wait times Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about reservations, wait times, or menu inquiries Assist servers by delivering food and beverages swiftly from the kitchen to tables while maintaining food safety standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment Support guest services by addressing guest needs promptly, resolving concerns with excellent communication skills, and fostering positive guest relations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods Experience Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles demonstrating strong customer service skills Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Experience in handling phone communication professionally, including managing reservations and guest inquiries Knowledge of food safety standards and basic math skills for handling guest transactions or order accuracy Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Hospitality experience that highlights guest relations and service excellence is highly valued Join our vibrant team where your energy, communication skills, and dedication will help us deliver exceptional dining experiences.
