Nomad Eatery is a chef-driven restaurant built around fresh local ingredients, creative flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere for everyone and offers a variety of seasonal and rotating menu items from pizza to burgers, sandwiches, salads, shareable plates, handcrafted cocktails, and more. We are looking for hard-working, motivated hospitality professionals to build our team and grow within a fast-paced and exciting restaurant environment. We are seeking energetic and welcoming Hosts to join our team! As the first point of contact for our guests, you will create a warm, friendly atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional dining or service experience. Your enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail will ensure guests feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities Greet guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude, providing a warm welcome upon arrival Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Toast POS systems Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, assisting with reservations or guest questions Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to ensure a welcoming environment Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating flow and reduce wait times Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their experience Provide excellent guest relations by listening attentively and addressing concerns promptly Experience Previous host or hostess experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant setting preferred Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills Familiarity with POS systems Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, and serving etiquette preferred Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally and manage guest relations effectively Experience working with diverse teams in hospitality settings demonstrates adaptability and teamwork skills
