Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure smooth communication between guests and staff. Your enthusiasm, organizational skills, and commitment to exceptional guest service will set the tone for a positive dining experience.
Pay :
This is a tipped position, base pay is $14.50 an hour, plus tips. Total Average Earnings estimated depending on hours & schedule worked. Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts efficiently using restaurant table management software (Resy) Answer phone inquiries with clear communication, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general restaurant details while maintaining proper phone etiquette Coordinate guest seating to optimize table utilization while accommodating special requests and ensuring guest comfort Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, including menus, reservation logs, and waiting lists Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall satisfaction Support food safety protocols by adhering to hygiene standards in the host area and during guest interactions Experience Previous experience as a host in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred Strong background in food service or hospitality roles that involve guest interaction and customer service skills Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Toast and Resy is highly desirable Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and proper phone etiquette Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for managing waitlists, reservations, and billing procedures Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations is a plus, along with an understanding of food safety standards

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
