Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Your exceptional guest services skills will help set the tone for our restaurant, making every visitor feel valued and appreciated. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries and accommodating special requests. Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting callers with reservations or information about the restaurant. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and comfort for all guests. Assist in managing wait times effectively, keeping guests informed and comfortable during busy periods. Uphold hospitality standards by providing attentive service and anticipating guest needs. Qualifications Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members. A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and providing outstanding hospitality. Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly while maintaining professionalism. Familiarity with food service operations is a plus but not required. Must be able to work evenings and weekends Must be able to work 11:00AM-4:00PM on Thanksgiving, Easter and Mothers Day with bonus pay. We are closed most other major holidays.
