Environmental Health and Safety Specialist - Manufacturing ProAmpac is seeking an EHS Specialist to support a safety-first culture at our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will implement and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs; conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations. You will deliver safety training, investigate incidents, and drive corrective actions, while partnering closely with operations and maintenance to improve processes. Implement and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures for manufacturing operations Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local regulations Deliver EHS training and safety communications to employees and contractors Track, analyze, and report EHS metrics; recommend corrective and preventive actions Support hazard identification, job safety analyses, and root-cause analysis Coordinate waste management, chemical handling, and environmental reporting Lead safety committee activities and promote a safety-first culture on the plant floor Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams on process improvements Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, health, and environmental performance Occupational safety and health regulations (OSHA) Environmental regulations (EPA, waste management, air/water compliance) EHS auditing and inspections Incident investigation and root-cause analysis Risk assessment and job safety analysis (JSA) EHS training development and delivery Data analysis and EHS metrics reporting Chemical safety and SDS management Continuous improvement / Lean or Six Sigma basics Proficiency with EHS management systems and MS Office Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred Associate Safety Professional (ASP) a plus OSHA 30-hour General Industry certification preferred First Aid/CPR certification a plus Familiarity with ISO 14001 and/or
