The Lead Host position is responsible for greeting and seating all guests in Corsa Restaurant, while maintaining a courteous and efficient operation of the dining room to ensure customer satisfaction. Essential Job Functions Responsible for managing the reservations book so guests are seated in a timely manner and to maximize the amount of tables in the restaurant at once Responsible for training new hosts on all procedures and guidelines Provide hands-on floor support during busy rushes Assist management with shift scheduling, performance feedback, and daily front-of-house readiness Answers phones and assists with guest questions and complaints. Knowledge of all menu items, prices and general service procedures Willing to assist in setting and bussing tables, and running food and drinks when needed Ability to stay positive, respectful and courteous in all situations; this includes with guests, co-workers and managers Communicate all special requests to servers and managers and be willing to assist in the guests' request Anticipate the needs of guests, respond accordingly to guest inquiries or problems, recognize regular guests and House members by name and use their name in conversation Maintain the host stand and the dining room to be neat and tidy at all times Required Skills & Abilities Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English Ability to use the telephone and computer system Must be able to stand exert well-paced mobility for the entirety of a shift Excellent communication skills Requires standing, sitting, walking, lifting, pushing, listening and hearing abilities Must be able to work on weekends, holidays, and stay through the end of season Must be a current resident of the Jackson Hole area or be willing to relocate Compensation +
