Job Description
Position Overview We are looking for a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Hotel Guest Service Attendant to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an excellent guest experience throughout their stay. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, communicative, and able to remain calm and professional in a busy hotel environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently Handle reservations, cancellations, and room changes Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries Provide guests with information about the hotel, local attractions, transportation, and services Process payments and prepare invoices Respond to guest requests, concerns, and complaints in a professional and solution-oriented manner Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments Maintain accurate guest records and update the hotel reservation system Monitor the reception area and ensure it remains clean, organized, and welcoming Follow hotel policies, security procedures, and data protection requirements Support additional front office duties as required Requirements Previous experience in a hotel reception, front office, customer service, or hospitality role is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Confidence when handling guest complaints and challenging situations Good computer skills and experience with hotel reservation systems are an advantage Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays Professional appearance and reliable work ethic What We Offer A welcoming and supportive working environment A varied role with direct guest interaction Training and professional development opportunities Opportunities for career growth within the hotel Employee discounts and other hotel benefits, depending on the property
