Job Description
Most hotels would label this job posting "Hotel Front Desk Receptionist." We call the position an Innkeeper. As an 8-room Inn, our Innkeepers serve as the manager on duty during their shift. The role carries a wide range of responsibilities, including face-to-face guest interaction, answering phone calls and making reservations, responding to emails professionally and promptly, helping clean rooms, doing dishes and laundry, and managing the overall guest experience. The Innkeeper is the person guests interact with at check-in and check-out. Duties include greeting guests, managing bookings and reservations, handling phone requests, resolving complaints, and doing anything possible to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. At our Inn, the Innkeeper also assists the housekeeper as much as possible. We are a team, and we work together to treat guests well and keep the Inn clean and shining! Innkeepers are trained in both front desk and housekeeping responsibilities, so they're equipped to handle whatever is needed during their shift.
