Job Description

La Quinta Inn & Suites is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will create a welcoming experience while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Greet guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude. Check guests in and out efficiently using Opera Cloud PMS . Understand and effectively use Opera Cloud PMS to manage reservations, room assignments, guest profiles, billing, payments, and daily front desk operations. Answer phone calls and assist guests with reservations, cancellations, and general inquiries. Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately. Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns in a courteous and professional manner. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and guest requests are fulfilled. Maintain accurate guest records and complete daily reports. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and Wyndham brand standards. Keep the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and presentable. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous hotel front desk experience is preferred. Experience with Opera Cloud PMS is strongly preferred. Candidates should understand how to navigate the system for reservations, check-ins/check-outs, room assignments, guest billing, and payment processing. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong computer skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Reliable, punctual, and professional with a positive attitude.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
