Full Job Description Position:
FRONT DESK SWITCHBOARD/BREAKFAST ATTENDANT
(Part-time) A small union square tourist hotel looking for a Front Desk/Switchboard to work part-time (1-3 days depending a week). Possible shifts available is mainly 6:30AM-2:00PM for Mondays and Tuesdays. Depending on your schedule/availability, other shifts for other days may be 7AM-3PM Morning, 3pm-11pm Evening shifts or Mid-shift if applicable. Initial training days & shifts can be flexible to work with you. Primary responsibilities include assisting with setting up, maintaining and cleaning breakfast area, assist desk clerk with guest check-ins and checkouts, answering guest related questions or concerns, assist with parking valet ticketing, and answer phones as needed. Previous experience is preferred but not required.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Ability to satisfactorily communicate Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness Ability to work well under pressure of check-in/check-out of guest and handle multiple tasks at once Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance Basic computer skills Knowledge of local restaurants, special events, city attractions and California attractions A PLUS. Pay consistent with hotel industry with some benefits available for part-time employees.
