The Sea Ranch Lodge, set in Sonoma County on 53 acres of dramatic Northern California coastline, built in 1968. One of the oldest buildings in The Sea Ranch, the North Building has been completely reimagined and as of July 1st, offers 17 intimate guest rooms for a quiet, coastal escape that inspires guests to respond to- and live in harmony with

Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Guest Service Agent to join our team. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds, we would love to hear from you.Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel and its amenities
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in reservations and payments
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Provide recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and events
- Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and services to effectively assist guests
- Operate the hotel phone system to answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or guest room
- Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Perform night audit duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues
- Multilingual skills are a plus
- Familiarity with hotel operations and guest relations
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
