Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, where you will be the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring every guest experience is exceptional from check-in to check-out. This energetic role requires a proactive approach to guest relations, efficient management of reservations, and seamless communication with various hotel departments. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and personalized assistance Manage hotel reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as SynXis Property Hub or similar platforms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person, offering prompt solutions and information about hotel amenities and local attractions Check guests in and out swiftly while maintaining professional phone etiquette and communication standards Assist with night audit procedures, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy Enforce hotel emergency procedures, including safety protocols and guest safety measures during incidents or evacuations Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues promptly Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, reservations, and incidents to support property management systems (PMS) documentation Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively Experience with hospitality management software such as SynXis Property Hub or other property management systems (PMS) is preferred Knowledge of front desk operations within hotel management environments, including reservation handling and guest relations Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest well-being at all times Excellent phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for handling inquiries and reservations Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced hospitality setting Resort experience or background in hotel experience enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest services Join us in creating welcoming environments where guests feel valued from the moment they arrive!
