Job Description

About the Role We're an extended-stay property in the Palm Harbor area with an on-site restaurant. We provide clean, stable, flexible-term housing — for people between homes, traveling workers, and longer-term residents. We run a tight, professional operation and we're growing. The front desk is the heart of it. As our Front Desk & Leasing Associate, you're the first point of contact for prospective residents and current tenants — the person who sets the tone with a warm welcome and keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes. This is not a "sit and check people in" job.
The role blends three things:
guest service, leasing, and account management. The right person is organized, unflappable, personable, and just as comfortable closing a new lease as holding a firm-but-fair conversation about a past-due balance. What You'll Do Greet and check in guests and residents warmly, answer phones with professional etiquette, and handle day-to-day front desk operations Show available rooms to prospective residents, explain lease terms and amenities, take applications, and process new leases and renewals Promote available units and additional services where it's a good fit for the resident Manage move-ins and move-outs and keep room availability accurately tracked Monitor resident accounts, follow up on past-due balances, and prepare and serve notices (e.g., three-day notices) per our established playbook and Florida law Address resident concerns promptly and professionally, defusing conflicts and fostering positive relationships Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping to keep rooms turning and ready Keep records, logs, lease agreements, and our property management system accurate, organized, and compliant with Fair Housing requirements Keep ownership informed with clear, timely updates on occupancy, leasing activity, and resident account status — and flag issues that need attention before they grow Enforce property policies consistently, professionally, and fairly What We're Looking For Strong customer service and people skills, with a calm, professional demeanor — including in difficult conversations Excellent communication, both verbal and written, plus professional phone etiquette Reliable, punctual, and able to take ownership without constant supervision Comfortable with computers, basic spreadsheets, and learning property management software Organized and detail-oriented; you don't let things slip through the cracks Able to work a full-time schedule, including some weekends Must pass a background check A Plus (Not Required) Bilingual (English/Spanish) Prior experience in hotel/hospitality front desk, property management, real estate administration, leasing, or collections Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite Sales or upselling experience promoting units or services Familiarity with Florida landlord-tenant or transient lodging rules and Fair Housing laws Schedule & Pay Full-time $52,000/year Opportunity to earn additional performance bonuses tied to leasing and account results How to Apply Apply through this posting with a short note about yourself and your resume (or a quick summary of your work history). This is a real role with real responsibility — and a chance to grow with a property that's expanding. We review applications promptly and reach out to strong candidates to schedule an interview. We are an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
