Job Description
Front Desk Agent - Job Description Front Desk Agents are responsible for delivering exceptional guest service throughout every stage of the guest experience, including check-in, check-out, and assisting guests during their stay. As the first and last point of contact, Front Desk Agents play a critical role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring every guest receives outstanding hospitality. In this role, you will process guest transactions, answer questions, resolve concerns, provide information about the hotel and surrounding area, and anticipate guest needs to create a seamless and memorable stay. Front Desk Agents are expected to maintain the highest level of professionalism while representing the hotel's commitment to exceptional customer service. Essential Responsibilities Welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner. Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently. Process reservations, room assignments, payments, and guest requests. Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and concerns. Maintain accurate guest records using the PEP Property Management System (PMS) . Communicate effectively with all hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Follow all hotel policies, brand standards, and operational procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous hotel front desk experience is preferred. Experience with the PEP Property Management System (PMS) is required. Outstanding customer service and communication skills. Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Professional appearance, positive attitude, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements This is an 8-hour standing shift , and employees should expect to be on their feet for the majority of their scheduled shift. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and perform tasks involving reaching, bending, and repetitive computer use. Schedule Requirements Flexible availability is mandatory. Front Desk Agents must be available to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and holidays based on the operational needs of the hotel. No fixed schedules are available under any circumstances. Work schedules are determined solely by the business needs of the hotel and may vary from week to week.
