- American Bistro & Martini Bar is seeking a friendly, dependable, and guest-focused Guest Service Associate to support daily restaurant operations.
This role involves welcoming guests, assisting with dining needs, supporting food and beverage service, maintaining clean service areas, and working closely with the team to provide a positive and enjoyable guest experience. Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service. Assist guests with seating, menu questions, and general requests. Take and process customer orders accurately as assigned. Communicate guest requests clearly with servers, kitchen staff, and other team members. Support food and beverage service by delivering orders promptly and accurately. Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces. Clear and reset tables throughout service. Restock dining, beverage, and service supplies as needed. Monitor guest areas and respond promptly to customer needs. Follow food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Assist servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and other team members during busy periods. Assist with point-of-sale and payment procedures as assigned. Respond to guest questions and concerns courteously and professionally. Support opening, closing, and general restaurant maintenance duties. Communicate guest feedback and operational needs to supervisors. Perform other guest service and restaurant support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous restaurant, hospitality, food service, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, reliable, and guest-focused attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Good attention to detail and service quality. Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude. Willingness to learn restaurant procedures and service standards. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
