Job Description

Job Summary:
Courtyard by Marriott Chicago O'Hare is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service at all times Handle guest check-in and check-out efficiently using the hotel's property management system Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide hotel information Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area Assist with guest services such as directions, transportation arrangements, and local recommendations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel management systems Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed We're an equal opportunity employer.
