The role also requires working closely with the housekeeping and laundry teams whenever operational support is needed. Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle reservations, room assignments, cancellations, guest inquiries, and requests.
- Answer phone calls and emails and provide accurate hotel information.
- Process guest payments, maintain billing accuracy, and complete front desk records.
- Respond to guest concerns professionally and coordinate solutions with the appropriate team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area.
- Coordinate with housekeeping regarding room status, cleaning priorities, early check-ins, and late check-outs.
- Assist the housekeeping team with operational duties when required.
- Coordinate guest and hotel laundry requirements and assist the laundry team when needed.
- Communicate clearly with all departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, service standards, and management instructions.
- Perform other reasonable operational duties as assigned by hotel management. Skills & Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Professional, reliable, organized, and able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask and handle guest concerns calmly.
- Basic computer skills; hotel front office or PMS experience is preferred.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and different shifts as required.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred.
