Free uniforms Paid time off Training & development Front Desk Associates are ambassadors for the hotel. They greet and register guests, provide outstanding service, and settle the guest's account upon completion of their stay.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate front desk cash drawers, room sales, and accurate folio transactions. Greet, register, and assign rooms to guest Issue room key and escort instructions Transmit telephone messages Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, local shopping, dining, and entertainment Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests Make and confirm reservations Post charges such as room, sundry items, fax, copy or telephone Make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations, and arrange for tours Deposit guests' valuables in safe deposit box Answer telephone calls promptly and politely in accordance with hotel policies Restock coffee station as needed Restock work area - maintain neat and organized work area Deliver supplies to guests as needed Review data regarding room status, income and expeditures Prepare computer generated reports as required Verify ournal and ledger entries of cash, check and credit card payments Transmit daily credit card bathes to bank Prepare checkout folios for daily departures with credit card payments
