Job Description
This Hotel Front Desk Agent position serves as the first point of contact for guests, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience. The role involves handling reservations, processing check-ins and check-outs, answering guest questions, and resolving issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately. Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications. Verify guest information and process payments. Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries. Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and directions. Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness. Maintain accurate guest records using the hotel's property management system (PMS). Balance cash drawers and prepare daily reports as required. Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards. Qualifications Hotel Experience required High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality education is a plus). Previous customer service or hotel experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with hotel reservation systems is an advantage. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
