Job Description

Job Overview Join our small, dedicated team at a luxury bed and breakfast on Cape Cod! We are seeking a responsible, personable, and professional Assistant to the Innkeepers / Front Desk Associate to work four to five afternoons per week in a welcoming, upscale environment. This is a part-time and seasonal position -- the inn is open April through mid-December.
Hours:
1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. 4 days per week (Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun). Potential for additional hours. Fewer days per week as we get into November and closer to the December closing of the inn. $23 per hour. Responsibilities Warmly greeting and checking in guests Providing key details about the inn, their stay, and local recommendations Answering phone calls and assisting with reservations Setting tables for breakfast and checking common areas for general tidiness Offering expert advice on Cape Cod dining, activities, and attractions Additional light tasks as needed
What We're Looking For:
A true people person with a passion for hospitality Excellent communication skills and a knack for making guests feel special Must be familiar with Cape Cod and able to share suggestions for dining, sightseeing, and activities Basic computer proficiency and ability to enter reservations into reservation software. Dependability (very important) , attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions - no last-minute call-outs. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service A commitment to exceptional service and a team-player mindset Must pass a background check - no criminal history Polished appearance and professional demeanor.
