Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide professional, friendly service. Manage and complete all assigned daily, shift, and departmental checklists accurately and on time. Follow up with team members to ensure required checklist items are completed. Monitor and respond to hotel emails promptly and professionally. Answer telephone calls promptly, use proper phone etiquette, and direct calls appropriately. Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently. Create, modify, and cancel reservations using the hotel's property management system. Verify identification, payment information, deposits, reservation details, and special requests. Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns professionally. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room status and guest needs. Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts, records, and shift reports. Review shift notes and communicate important information to the following shift. Maintain an organized front desk, lobby, filing system, and supply inventory. Manage several responsibilities at once while remaining organized and attentive to detail. Follow hotel procedures for cash handling, credit cards, guest privacy, safety, and security. Notify management promptly of unresolved guest concerns, incomplete tasks, or operational issues. Perform other duties assigned by the Front Desk Manager or hotel management. Requirements Previous front desk, hotel, or customer-service experience preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to manage and complete checklists accurately. Professional phone and email communication skills. Basic computer and data-entry skills; Mews experience is a plus. Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
