Job Description

A Hotel Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for our guests and is responsible for assisting with all aspects of their stay. Responsibilities include checking guests in and out, managing reservations, providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities, and addressing guest questions and concerns. Responsibilities Perform all check-in and check-out procedures Manage online, phone, and in-person reservations Inform guests about payment methods and verify credit card information Register guests and collect necessary information, including contact details and dates of stay Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms Provide information about hotel rooms, rates, amenities, and services Respond to guest questions, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean, tidy, and properly prepared for guests Confirm group reservations and assist with special arrangements for VIP guests and event attendees Upsell additional hotel facilities and services when appropriate Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of reservations and payments Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Skills & Qualifications Previous experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar role preferred Familiarity with online travel and booking websites Strong customer service skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Professional and friendly demeanor Strong attention to detail Must be available to work AM and PM shifts and weekends based on business needs and availability
