As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs to ensure hotel facilities, equipment, and guest areas are safe, functional, and well maintained. Responsibilities Respond to guest and department radio requests in a courteous, efficient, and safe manner, following up to ensure guest satisfaction Complete maintenance work orders from all departments in a timely manner Perform scheduled preventative maintenance assignments Inspect and maintain hotel equipment to ensure it is working properly Assist with general repairs and maintenance throughout the hotel Perform other responsibilities as assigned Requirements 1-3 years of previous hotel maintenance experience preferred Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Basic knowledge of painting, drywall, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing preferred General knowledge of machines and basic hand and power tools Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy when performing job duties Ability to stand, walk, and move around for the duration of the shift Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to understand basic English instructions, labels, and work assignments and communicate effectively with team members and guests
