Ann Arbor, MI Job Details Part-time $16 - $18 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Computer skills Full Job Description We are seeking a professional, customer-focused individual to join our team in a front desk support role at a hospitality property. In this part-time position, you will help create a welcoming guest experience by providing attentive service, handling daily front desk operations, and supporting smooth communication between guests and hotel departments. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide courteous, efficient service at the front desk Check guests in and out accurately while following established procedures Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with reservation-related requests Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and property policies Process payments, maintain accurate records, and handle basic cashiering duties Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to support guest needs Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area Follow company standards for service, safety, confidentiality, and security Qualifications Previous customer service experience, preferably in hospitality, retail, or a related environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain organized, detail-oriented, and composed in a fast-paced setting Basic computer skills and comfort using scheduling, reservation, or point-of-sale systems Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and empathy Flexibility to work part-time shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine front desk duties Preferred Skills Experience with hotel property management systems Bilingual communication skills Knowledge of hospitality service standards Experience handling cash, credit card transactions, or night audit support What We Offer A welcoming and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to build experience in the hospitality industry Training and support to help you succeed in the role Flexible part-time scheduling Additional Information We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all team members are treated with respect and have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully.
